great way to see the country
fast pace and a ton of responsibility, not for everyone but i enjoyed the time i had there. Not for the family man/woman as it requires extended absence from home.

Management is not what they say are
Management makes a lot of promises when hiring, but fails miserably right after. When your around the “higher” supervisory positions, you will find out they talk about everyone behind their backs and don’t have the proper experience to talk to individuals and keep opinions to themselves. As far as work goes, the work is ok and guys are good. However the work is go hard when it’s there but if it slows down you sit and they won’t communicate when they have work. You have to always be on top of them to keep getting the work. Management makes more mistakes then the guys learning the jobs. People hired are there because they need bodies

Great team to work with
Collaborated well with others. Molded the team to be a lot more relaxed and open environment. Initiated social activities and office supplies essential.

Fast paced, stressful work that compensates well
I would still be working for Davaco if they had consistent projects, but they often go 3 months to a year without jobs. Working for Davaco entails working on the road, travelling a lot and only being home for 4 days a month a lot of the time. I would only recommend this job to someone who is looking for away from home work, that compensates well. If you have a family with kids this job may be difficult. Also the work is often during night time, and extremely stressful as jobs have extremely strict deadlines and often pose many challenges. If you are fast and effective at solving problems, motivating people and doing clean, efficient work then you will thrive in this job.
