It's a place that seems that management has hired all their loser brother-in-laws and allows them to pick and choose the deliveries they want to do.
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Nanaimo, BC - 24 November 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Being alone in your delivery van and not having to deal with all the idiots you work with. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Working with the dispatchers' and managers' friends that do nothing but whine about what life owes them. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Some of the employees put in about 40% effort. If you're not a friend of the dispatcher and manager you'll have to work extra hard and longer shifts so the chosen few can disappear for three hour lunches. It's demoralizing to be witness to the favoritism. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Load up, make deliveries, work ten or eleven hour days and do twice the work of some of the others.

Amazon delivery
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 9 October 2021
I worked for Danfoss for 2 years. In that time I received 2 raises and got bonuses 4 times. I got driver of the month award for 400 bucks. They would also give out gift cards and buy food for the drivers once in awhile. The job itself is fairly easy as long as you keep moving as the deliveries are all close to each other. Dispatch and Amazon will keep a close eye on you to make sure you are keeping up to their pace. If you get finished early they will expect you to help out drivers who are running behind. Usually you will get around 150 packages to deliver. It can be fairly tough on rainy days or cold days if you don't wear appropriate clothing.
Pros
Bonuses, decent wages, overtime
Cons
Rainy days

Driver/Delivery (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 8 November 2020
Getting a job here was very easy. I had done delivery with skip the dishes befor I started here and i enjoyed this job more right away. They do interviews and training with zoom. You do get paid for the zoom training as well. They have so many vans like 150 i think.
Pros
Easy job
Cons
Rainy days

Go go go
Delivery driver (Former Employee) - Delta, BC - 17 October 2020
Some shifts are a bit long like 11 hours. The job is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If you are behind another driver will come help or i would help others who were behind..
Pros
Benifits package
Cons
During busy times work 5 or 6 days per week overtime

Delivery
Driver/Delivery (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 24 September 2020
Lots of deliveries with a good team environment, if you have a tough route and behind another driver will come to help you finish on time. Dispatchers were drivers and know the challenges.
Pros
Gift cards
Cons
Morning shift is 11 hours

I hate Danfoss, Very less pay and stressful
Delivery Driver - Amazon (Former Employee) - Delta, BC - 10 September 2020
They pay extremely less with lots of stress. The manager and dispatchers are very rude and careless. they keep pushing you all the time to work hard. I used to finish my deliveries in four hours and then they asked me to help other drivers etc... they don't give compliments and no raises. I worked four times more harder than all the drivers but I was paid the same.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Long hours, stressfull, rude management

Official response from Danfoss Courier & Freight
13 September 2020Hi there, We don't have any routes that take 4 hours. Our routes are designed to take 10 hours as we clearly state in our ads. We promote team work on the road as some routes are much harder than others. Our pay structure is higher than the median wage for delivery drivers and we give out over 5 thousand in bonuses and gift cards to our drivers each month for their hard work on the road. Each employee receives a pay increase after 3 months probation and each year after that. We are sorry you didn't have what it takes to be a part of our winning delivery team. Thank you
Active job
Driver/Delivery (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 26 August 2020
I prefer to be out on the road than sit behind a desk. This company is large, i made some good freindships while working here. Dispatchers are friendly unless you are very bad at the job.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
None

Great company and family
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 21 July 2020
I worked with this company almost 2 and it was a very positive experience. They have a great team here and the management is great, always willing to help and listen to any concerns we have. Lots of free lunches, git cards and other bonuses. Extended vacations were allowed even in my first year of employment. Every month $2000 is given away for safe driving awards. Out on the road customers are always happy to see you to get their Amazon packages.
This is not a good job if you are out of shape or not able to work in cold or hot weather conditions. Seems like every day Amazon tries to add more packages to the routes. When I started I would deliver around 100 packages, now drivers have around 200. I don't like taking breaks but they will force you to take 1 hour of breaks throughout the day.
Pros
Gift cards, food, bonuses
Cons
long hours

Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 22 February 2020
Days spent delivering packages in Vancouver. Customers always happy to see you. Dispatchers are always there to help you with any problem deliveries.
Rude dispatchers are gone now.
Pizza days quite often, gift cards and bonuses during the busy season. They allow extended vacations for up to 4 weeks in your first year.

Some dispatchers are a bit rude
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 16 January 2020
Apart from having a bad experience with one of the dispatchers my experience working there was very good. One of the dispatchers was very rude with drivers. Whoever I talked to didn’t have a good experience working with him, I think he is not working there anymore.

Official response from Danfoss Courier & Freight
30 August 2020Hi there, safety is a top priority at our company. We would like to know what exactly was unsafe about working with us. Every employee gets a performance review and raise after three months and every year after that. We have well over 300 employees, some drivers have been with us for over 20 years. We look forward to your response. Thank you
