Prepared to be yelled at for no reason at all. Production Manager is bipolar. Its always testing hot waters with him. If you have a weak heart, and cry easily, this role is not for you.It is a good experience to jumpstart your career. But take the experience, and dont stay for long. There are enough seat warmers there so there is no room for growth.The money they pay is not enough for the stress honestly.

Fast paced work all the time.

Really low salary, no benefits, toxic work environment, bad behavior from seniors toward entry positions. Stressful environment.Senior Mic used to be a yeller and unkind person with unprofessional behavior to the jrs. When I tried to tell to supervisor, he just justify this behavior with a personality mode. I really don't recommend to work there.

In 2017, I worked here as a general laborer, doing repetitive work every day. Because I worked hard, I was quickly promoted to machine operator. The job description is to set up and clean the machine. The trainer who taught me was very nice to me. During this time I found that I enjoyed working with machines. I want to become a higher level of machine maintenance worker, so I went back to college to study mechanics. After I graduated in August this year, I didn't find a job very quickly. I found it is difficult to find a position as a machine maintenance worker as a female fresh graduate. Many companies require several years of work experience. At the same time, one agent told me directly that they don't hire female maintenance technicians. Just when I was feeling helpless, Crystal Claire Cosmetics Company gave me the opportunity to improve myslef once again. Now I have a position here as a Maintenance Technician. The employees in the maintenance department are very friendly, and they are willing to share their maintenance experience with me. I am glad to come back to work again. If you want to learn skills in other departments, please let them know. The supervisors and HR staff here will help you.

Good company with a good people

Company with a warm atmosphere and friendly colleges. Good conditions at the office (kitchen, gym).Don't recommend if you live far from the office, because commute is really hard, but it's a perfect spot if you're driving (big free parking).If you have some issues, all of the people are always ready to help you. HRs are really nice, they are doing their best to create a warm environment in the office (celebrating holidays, small gifts, parties)Interesting job: working with worldwide popular cosmetics companies is very interesting and an amazing experience. you can learn a lot from you're colleges as well as from company's trainings. Disadvantage: low salary

Awesome Place to Grow and Learn

As a whole, my experience working with Crystal Claire Cosmetics Inc has been excellent. In the first two weeks of my employment, my mentor in the department provided me with detailed and practical introductory training, as well as ongoing on-the-job training throughout my employment. Our office has an open-door policy, so whenever I have concerns and questions, they can be heard and respected. Although the pace of work is fast, I believe it is a wonderful opportunity for people to grow and learn. Further, the management values the work-life balance of its employees and is willing to provide flexible working schedules.

A Great Place for Self-Driven Individuals

Product Design Engineer (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 27 October 2022

There are many opportunities at this company, but it is up to you to make or break a career here. There will be repetitive work as a manufacturing environment should, but there will also be fun and challenging work from time to time. As a PD Engineer, you get to prototype consumer products using industrial 3D printers that you might not get elsewhere. The work culture here is appreciated as well. Hours are reasonably flexible to suit your schedule. There is "no dress code," meaning anything that is sensible workplace attire will be accepted. So, you can wear a plain T-shirt, or a dress shirt, it is up to you. Overall, if you are a self-driven individual, this would be a great place for you.

Good place to begin, lots of opportunities to learn

It’s a good place to start and pick up the skillsets you need. Everyone is nice as long as you talk to them. Knowing Chinese is an asset but there are plenty of people that can speak English too. There is opportunity to grow as long as you keep growing.

+ The place is very clean, the products are well made. The work team is very kind, they try to help the newest. - It is a very hard work, so fast, repetitive movements, very hard to catch up if you miss the time. They just pay the minimum wage, which is not enough for this many work.

- super repetitive work, and therefore very boring- super fast paced- get blisters on hand once in a while - mostly middle aged women work there- will have drama and gossip so be prepared

We are very sorry to hear this, we acknowledge the job can be fast at times, however we do have proper measures in place to control ergonomic hazards.We acknowledge that the Production staff's job duties tend to be repetitive in nature and the position does require employees to focus on the task using their hand-eye coordination. Awful place to work at!! No support, very cliquey, if you’re not Asian don’t bother working there, they over work you for no money, warehouse is also very dangerous for workers since it has a strong chemical smell and the poor workers are breathing that in for ten hours, management is never there, no proper training, you can pretty much wear whatever you want but that takes away from a professional environment, a lot of the employees can’t speak or write in English which is crazy since they’re communicating with big brands, everyone is very rude, racist and miserable. Just don’t bother working here, it’s a waste of your time.

Line leaders treat you badly, people do not know english there

It was fast paced and some line leaders treat you like garbage. Line leaders don’t know how to behave. They are so rude. Communication problem: nobody speak english there, even supervisors, line leaders do not know english properly
