The time I was there it was okay and good longs you stay to yourself mind your owns and do the work the day will go by smooth work not to hard but they have they hard and light days like any other job
Pay not really worth it if you seek higher pay
There is no effective leadership. Important information is hidden from Corporate Headquarters, Open door communication forbidden. Middle management has no clue how to lead, they were never trained for leadership. Very little training across all levels
Hard to get fired. In fact almost impossible. Makingit harder for hard workers
No leadership. Poor communication. Extreme favoritism.
Whilst in this employment I was truly amazed by the lack of ability of the senior management. Decisions were made that astonished me daily! They have no respect for their employees and have personally heard from a very senior employee that they don’t employee Pa***s. Racism is commonplace. CMB Engineering is a complete joke.
Did not spend enough time educating sales associates on proprietary products. Did not inventory enough materials to be competitive in the market. Lack of support
I loved the actual job itself. The management and some of the workers really brought you down. They don’t care about any of the workers accept there favorites. I worked there 4years and I hated my job everyday due to the supervisor and the forklift driver. I’d never work there again due to the people being so hateful!
I worked at the Kettering location for over a year. It was like high school so many people would bully you or make up rediclous rumors about every one. If you are not a favorite in management they will not have your back at all. I Was called so many names. And if u went to hr they wouldn't do anything about because they were a favorite. They would make other people repack buoforders and the change the specs for the favorites
Worked there 8 years, loved the company, but the supervisor brought in family to work in the warehouse so favoritism was abundant. Felt I worked really hard to make everything flow smoothly, at the end of the day they didn't value me as much as I valued the job. No HR dept. to get guidance from and the manager only believed what he was told by the supervisor and the former supervisor that stepped down.
I worked there for almost a year. Supervisors were very pleased with my work. I consistently exceeded production goals. I was also able to do on the spot maintenance of my machine and reduce any down time because of mechanical malfunction. However, these accomplishments meant nothing. Their overly harsh point system dismisses any worker, valued or not, if he or she accumulates 10 points, no matter the reason. Anyone who has children who might become ill, terminally ill spouses or parents who need attention, or becomes ill themselves, no matter how dedicated an employee, will be terminated immediately as soon as they reach the 10 point limit. Crown would rather spend money constantly having to retrain employees rather than use reasonable judgement and value the people they have.
Lack of wanting to improve quality of work. Groups have no focus. Toxic work place. HR is a joke. They don't with anything. They can be replaced by a button that says " Please call this person for information"
Typically excellent work ethics throughout the plant, unfortunately management consider themselves separate from the rest of the work force, and as a result have lost touch of the plants day to day requirements, they have become completely immersed in line hour efficiencies, which has resulted in the machines being sped up with no additional level of controls to cope with the additional speed, which has led to ,ore down time than actual production. The work force are generally very committed and conscientious to their jobs. An excellent place to work
Wonderful company and great people. enjoyed it. My manager and boss is my reference, unfortunately starting a new territory was more difficult than we planned originally.
