Convenient
Retail Data Clerk/Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Fredericton, NB - 9 December 2020
Unprofessional, lack of communication, lack of employer/employee ethic. I was let go during a pandemic for missing time and unable to provide a return to work doctor note

Retail Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 2 March 2020
I briefly worked for two reps, who had 150 accounts each. I never got a straight answer of how many stores I was expected to visit. I had thought I would visit at least 6 stores a week, same stores every week, but found out I could be all over the city, different stores every week. Had to visit the storage unit to get displays for each store and put up in stores, plus put out any product on the floor. Lots of physical labour and working in the freezer aggrevated my asthma.
Too much stress and really long days, not worth it.

Grossly underpaid
Retail Vendor Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 9 December 2019
Unreasonable expectations and pay is horrible....only benefit is the flexibility it offers if you have kids in school and someone else in the family has a real job to pay the bills...company doesn't pay more than minimum wage

A
Retail Sales Merchandiser (Part-time) (Current Employee) - Peterborough, ON - 29 May 2014
A typical day involves gathering all my pop, project reports and driving to all my stores for that day. My co-workers are fun to work with. Sometimes the hardest is lifting very heavy fixtures. The most enjoyable is interacting with department managers and customers, I do go out of my way to assist whenever i can.
Pros
we get paid milege
Cons
They don't pay enough.
