The company’s founder and president, Bill Hatswell remains at the helm with his son Rick Hatswell as COO, Greg Hatswell as GM of Real Estate and daughter Melanie Allan as VP of Business Development and Sales in the USA. It truly is a family business headquartered in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
The first Craftsman Collision opened on Vancouver’s Cambie Street in the spring of 1977. We opened our first collision repair shop in Vancouver with a mission not merely to compete, but to dramatically elevate the standards of quality and service in what was a shambling, poorly managed industry. Today, the distinctive Craftsman red and blue colours project quality and reliability from Edmonton, Alberta to Suzhou, China with 40 shops and counting.
