During a typical day at work me and my crew would great each other and punch in at the same time, after punching in each one of my crew members would go to their different departments and begin to work after we gave each other a motivational talk, i worked in several departments but ecom was my main one. In this department i learned how to unload trucks, package orders and label them for customers, receive items in various aisles and put them in a box to be packaged, and lastly I completed several large orders for the company. I learned the discipline that is involved with dealing with peoples orders and the wonders of teamwork, overall this job was amazing and I'm looking for the same kind of job experience.
Pros
free lunches, food bar in the cafeteria, time and a half payment for overtime work
Cons
achieving a full time job is hard (i was a seasonal worker)

Everyone always seems up tight.. some nice people, management not so much. Not flexible with hours. Hard to get full time, probably takes 3-5 years at earliest..

i loved this job more than any other, only thing that got me out was a manager who decided my anxiety was unacceptable despite my continuing to work and even harder during anxious episodes (hard work calms me)
Pros
no arbitrary rules concerning lifting, if you can safely lift it go for it
Cons
unclear scheduling at least in my old warehouse

fast paced, seasonal part time work. would like more opportunity for full time when hired. Staff and management usually pleasant, but sometimes too stressed.

Coworkers are AWESOME, Costco knows how to hire. P.G. Costco If you don’t mind a warehouse environment (no sun and recycled air) it’s a good job. Morning shift is the best shift

Great place to work, fun but very strict and disciplined environment. Early start at 5 am. Good character builder. Great environment and job security for college on their CSRP program

Typical day at Costco (night shift) for me was rising at 3am biking to work for 4. Getting to work Signing in, Unloading pallets and other duties as instructed for about 6-8 hours a day. What I learned from this Job good team leadership and hard work goes a long way. The management was very good & I enjoyed most of my co-workers. The hardest part of the Job was waking up everyone morning. The most enjoyable part was meeting all the people & seeing familiar faces within and out the store.
Pros
Product
Cons
Thee amount of people in the store

I worked as a stocker in an area where I had no business being placed in as I was not big enough to lift or carry items that needed restocking. I found the training to be seriously lacking and management was not overly helpful when dealing with a work related injury. Co-workers were largely unfriendly and in some cases very rude during the 4:45am-9:45am shift. That being said, the hours were plentiful and management was most helpful in accommodating working parents. Pay was slightly better than other companies with similar job positions.
Pros
Management accommodating work hours for working parents
Cons
Insufficient training and lack of managerial support/assistance regarding work related injuries.
