Lack of appreciation for the work I do and the effort I put in, that management & supervisors don't care how hard you work - if you put one foot wrong, they write you up and threaten you with counselling letters for miniscule and minor things/mistakes. they take the side of the people with seniority and that if you have a grievance or issue with a particular supervisor, even if they are being rude, they blame you. Unless that problem is with a member, your supervisor who is besties with that supervisor & management don't care & will do and say things to drive you out. favortism and cliques are rife at this place and most of the people can't be trusted, because if you say anything that worries or bothers you, it spreads like wildfire in the breakroom & next thing you know, you find yourself in the firing line. that's why I am planning on getting out of here. Pay is high for a reason - it's because you have put up with a lot of unsavoury stuff from some members of staff & to keep your mouth shut & to do the work.
They fire everybody one week before your probation was over , we worked so hard for nothing they used us in Langley BC , stay away from Langley Costco

I would treat customers avec le respect et courtois!try To sell their products with honesty !!!
What advice would you give the CEO of Costco Wholesale about how to improve the company?
Please Improve Safety at every Costco. I'm almost certain that every Costco needs to be updated so each building is safe as well as all employees and members. Please provide all Managers and Supervisors with Communication Training. Hold Managers/Supervisors accountable for Harassment and Abuse. Enforce a zero tolerance for any form of Harassment or Abuse by any Employee in or on costco property. All employees deserve to feel Safe working at Costco.
What would you suggest Costco Wholesale management do to prevent others from leaving?
Have a seperate department for employees to report abuse and harrasment from managers and supervisors because many Managers are out of line. Improve Safety everywhere. Make Managers enlist in Communication classes periodically so they will communicate effectively with every employee.
Have 2 references that work at Costco, been applying for 2 years. Never received a call for interview has had a membership since 1999 but the supervisors has their family ,friends etc and its who you know in Halifax
