Honest Cash, but no future

Cosmetica is one of those places that you would want to work at simply for money. There's really no other reason to work at cosmetica other than the work is super easy (Moving boxes, and putting labels if you're starting in production)The work environment is generally ok, with the exception of a few for-lifers that often try to be "better" than you - for lack of better words. However, the more relaxed people outweigh the problematic people.Management is the main issue. They refuses to buy better gear for employees to use (Tape gun machine hasn't been fixed in years, hair nets and gloves are the cheapest possible, and single fillers are often breaking and machine operators are blamed for it). They also seem to be super clueless as to what is going on, as they often worry about low production rates rather than the actual problem, causing a lot of the employees to have to improvise, thus reducing safety and moral. overall not a bad place, but still has its flaws

Turn over is high. Employees normally needs to take more responsibility to help other departments, that makes the work load stressful. Goals are not clear.

Fast paced work environment, lots of gossip among the permanent works the supervisors are literally nothing to talk about mostly the afternoon shift supervisor. Pay to is really low compared to other competitive industry

very fast paced, need to be doing the same thing over and over again. breaks are very short only 30 mins and one other break that is 15 mins. i do not recommend

Pros: Extremely good working environment. Line workers are nice and mostly supportive of one another. Cons: lots of layoffs for long periods. So it’s not a stable income. Also night shift workers does not receive premium pay which sucks.

Racist and rude company with no job security

Never work here!!! There is no job security. They tell you we need employees for long term but after their work is done, they will tell you wait until we call you, and that is the end. I left my fulltime job for working here, but I done the greatest mistake of my life ....

Fast paced and horrible management

Line leaders and QC are very rude and disrespectful. They speed up the line to compete with each other and caused mistakes and pile up. They blame you and yell at you when that happens. Treat agency workers like trash.

Worked there in 2020 in Midnight shift as QLL now they call it as Line lead ,Poor management + Lots of Responsibility+ no consideration + Favoritism + Politics Internal candidates are already fix so even if you apply doesn't make any sense.Terrible place to work ,Only if you have nothing else start here or else "Stay away".It is a show where it is "PRODUCTION VS QA" and you get frustrated because you are between them.

I enjoyed working there. Salary wise, was not too bad. But the group leaders they always have they're own favorites. I think that is normal for every company's.

Fast faced.

Fast faced and stressful. Sometimes we don't even get 40 hours in a week. Some of the supervisors are rude and no respect to new employees and its not easy to work with some of the senior employees.

Some team leads are good and other senior employees are rude

No continuation of work, We always get an email from agency saying no production. Rude supervisors, No Job security, Anytime they will ask not to come office, Some of the senior employees literally scolds new employees, They concentrate more on quantity, not on quality, No SOPs followed

Treated like garbage as a temp employee

The company only hires temps for minimum wage. If you are looking for a serious job, go elsewhere. The full-timers treat the temp staff poorly. Yelling, intimidation and unfair treatment. When you raise these issues with the agency, they terminate your job and write legalese to scare you.

Fun and wonderful coworker but low pay and under agency workers is only hiring.

As title says fun place and coworkers but pay to labour and how inconsistent the work is it's not great place. Agency that handles most of the line factory workers is really a mess and take alot of your pay check that sometimes you have to call them for your bonus holiday pays.

There's an opportunity to introduce Work Instructions and SOPs whenever necessary provided it makes value to the overall operations. The hardest part is overcoming the company culture that was based on old managerial practice and creates barriers between departments and sections. However, you will enjoy the fast paced rhythm of the operations, the multifunctional people, and multicultural environment.

The pay is dumb for the production workers

They have you work so hard, until you have lots of body pain and the pay is dumb. They should really increase the pay for the line workers because it is very painful working there. Especially the night shift because it was already hard enough to get yourself accustomed to the night shift as well as carry about your normal life outside of work on a daily basis.
