Reviews about Pay & benefits for Truck Driver at Core-Mark International, Inc.
Good job that could be much better
Class 1 Driver (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 10 June 2020
Unreasonable loads. Too many stops, too much to deliver in a day on routes that's way too far from vancouver. Very long exhausting days. Good pay, good equipment and benefits but most of the guys quit within a week or so because is way too much work for one person especially the lifting part. It was not a good experience for me. Ended up getting sick and hurt at the end of my term

Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) – Wilkes-Barre, PA – 20 May 2018
If you like playing who's on first, and not being able to know if your compensated for the work you do because they pay stop, cube, mile; which is frieght broker terms for try and figure it out. Bennifits packages are about equivalent as others doing the same work you eventually can earn quite a bit vacation time which is cool. Count on being married to your job because they are severely under staffed. If they make a promise of a sign on or referral bonus get it in writing and have it stated clearly when where and how you will receive it. Don't assume anything as to your security of having a steady job or one you enjoy they periodically reroute and you may end up being removed from something your comfortable with. I'd suggest if you don't like to be taken advantage of to apply elseware. Nothing at this place is an assumption, get it in print or have someone sign off on company promises the same as they have you sign off on everything. The amount of physical and mental stress is not worth double the pay.
Some family related activities during Holliday's, earned vacation time, free uniforms, occasional free food, hoagies, cookouts, ice cream.
Overworked, short staffing, on call, management needs a reboot, It genuinely is hard work, easy to get hurt or mess up. Trucks are newer but bottom of the line mostly CNG.
