Avoid at all costs
Millwright Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Paris ontario24 April 2017
Absolutely a horrible place to work, dirty , hazardous dust, hot (we had temp workers pass out in 20 min from the heat) and smells bad to boot. Awful lunchroom, one small fridge and two microwaves for 50 people. One shower with intermittent hot water, Benefits all slashed when coors took over , wages frozen permanently, hours cut to nearly part time. Managment is combative and nearly impossible to get along with , they allow and even take part in harassment of eployees. My manager expected 4 guys to share one welding helmet and could not understand what the problem was. As people quit and retire they are not replaced passing the work off to who's left. Pay and working conditions are so poor they have gone years now without a full maintenance staff. Finally coors greed has absolutely no limit.
Pros
Paycheck never bounced
Cons
Hot, dirty, dusty, smelly terrible working conditions, terrible changerooms and breakroom, no vending machines or food nearby, not allowed to leave the plant if you do it costs you an emegency leave day, . Absolutely avoid this company !

A typical week at work was entering accounts payable, P.O. receiving, reception, cheque run, filing, problem solutions, filling label bins, at times arranging luncheons, maintaining files.
