MSCC Agent - Night Shift 11pm - 7am in Ottawa, ON
on 12 April 2022
Good place to work and friendly co-workers.
Typical day/night shift is answering calls and creating service requests for clients.Receiving alarms and dispatching accordingly to keyholders, ambulance, police & fire, security guard. This is a very small place with 2 employees per shift only so you need to be responsible and show up on time. This is a slow-pace job. Not a typical call center where you get calls after calls. It doesn't pay...

Stagnant environment with snakey management
First out of town company/job I've ever worked for that doesn't pay LOA or provide camp accommodations. The last day of a 14 day shift is 12hrs after which its expected of you to drive long distances or pay for your own hotel accommodations. They claim to match RRSP contributions but only pay out once a year. Their employee turn around is so high that most don't get paid out their RRSP matching. M...

Supervisor in Ontario

moved away from their foundational values and Beliefs.
Company had great founders and still has some good people, but in their rush to be number 1 they have moved away from their strong founding values and beliefs. they talk about them but don't really live them, customers and employees notice and are leaving.

Productive and fun team to work with
CVG is a great employer to work for. Very laid back and collaborative teams. Extensive training is provided for all matters related to the job and beyond. Supervisor is always there to help with anything one might need.

I don't remember. Mostly I interviewed them while they lied about what their company believed in. They were desperate for someone with my experience. I later learned why.... Can't keep journeyman, except the bosses brother, who will never quit or get fired. Ooops. I did not ask enough questions during the interview or I would have seen all the red flags.
