Horrible management
Shunter (Former Employee) –  Huntsville, ON21 April 2019
I worked out of the Huntsville location, securing trailers. Typical day was sometimes busy but very slow for the most part. The supervisor was horrible at his job. Always had something to complain about but never got off his office chair.
Pros
Ok hours
Cons
Horrible management, wouldn’t recommend the job, overall the supervisor didn’t care about anyone about himself and left as early as he can

Driver (Former Employee) –  Hagersville, ON11 September 2018
Worked here for a few years only left because wife got moved with her job. Would have stayed. Always treated good and pay was good. Worked on highway board, had a nice truck and paid for all extras. Dispatch was fair and office was nice to come into. Always felt welcome. Would recommend.
Pros
Pay for extras, lots of work

Long process to enter and no respect from trainers
Truck Driver (Former Employee) –  Hagersville, ON20 June 2018
Don't waste your time with them

They are not honest and they have bad trainers

They change words after you start with them and not paying well

You will be working long hours

They will let you work in unsafe manner irrespective of oreantation they give you showing they care about safety, on the road with trainers are different

If you’re a fast leaner...
Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) –  Haggersville1 June 2018
High expectations with minimum training!! Management expects you to know the job within the first week, unless you’re a really fast learner, don’t bother applying.

Stressful and hard working, dusty
Shunt Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON2 October 2017
Tarp 50 ft trailers loaded with drywall, bungee and strap the load. Dusty, fast paced, pushed-to-work fast environment. The work is heavy. Management very bias toward non-yard staff. In 5 years only 2 employees I've seen have made job advancements(me included) and 20+ have quit after being hired.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
management, work environment(the work place as a whole), understaffed, pushed to work fast
