This hotel is a dump and is falling apart. Do not work here. You will regret it. The owner works as the manager too. They have neglected the hotel, by not maintaining the building. Guests always complain about issues with their rooms and want refunds. The job is very stressful and fast paced.
The manager constantly micromanages you, when doing your job and always criticizes your performance although your doing a good job. The computer system is outdated, staff have to print off third party reservations, and manually enter them on the computer system.
There is always only one person at the Front Desk, when there should be at least two people. This makes it difficult, when guests have issues with their rooms, and you have to assist them, so if someone wants to check in, they will have to wait a while.
The manager doesn't care about the staff, the guests or maintaining the hotel. They just care about the money. The hotel should have new owners or be shut down. The job is very degrading where you are underappreciated and treated like trash.
