The company has changed over the last couple of years in an unfortunate way. Much more of a corporate feel which in turn, has made it lose it's charm.
The positives are that there are excellent co-workers who are always willing to help each other. There are some incredibly intelligent telecom techs here, who also happen to be fantastic human beings.
The cons are simple. People who have been long accepting less because they believe in a vision, need to finally be compensated fairly. When your people believe in you, you need to reward that. Yet, the opposite has happened. Techs are tasked with more and more and get less and less, despite the companies positive growth. There has been no trickle down to the boots on the ground and there is no affective manager to speak to about anything.
The message was to not be like the big Telco's but the company is becoming exactly like them but with less pay, worse benefits and no retirement plan of any kind.
