Good people, hard job, managed poorly over the last year
Sales execution associate (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 26 October 2017
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat people to work for/with but unfortunately they make poor decisions most of the time when it comes to staffing. Most large routs should be cut in half to make it easier on the staff to manage stores.
Pros

Cons

Sales Execution Associate (Current Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 24 August 2020
Seriously, that is the best way to sum it up.
- Little to no raises for years.
- Wage is below living wage.
- Wage is FAR below competitor's wage/salary and you have far more responsibilities.
- Your salary/wage is capped at a low rate (ex: large format capped under 20$, small format capped under 50k$)
- No car allowance for those who actually drive the most.
- Little advancement in the company because there is always internal politics at play.
- The people that are in positions do not plan to move out for a while so there is no ladder to climb.
- Management is clueless, completely out of touch with the responsibilities they ask of you, with little communication, and high to impossible demands.
- You are expected to complete a 14hr day within 8hrs.
- Little to no reward/recognition for your hard work.
- Extremely grueling on the body and there isn't much kick back for the toll your body takes.
- "Push this, push that" mentality and your customers will be tired of it. If try to work with your customers, the company becomes upset. If you work with the company, your customers become upset. There is absolutely no winning.
- "You're the foundation of the company" but you will never feel or be rewarded for it.
- They basically want obeying robots that don't pipe up. If you do say anything, you will swiftly be reprimanded for it... even though they ask you to say something.
Pros
You work for a recognized brand
Cons
You're nothing but a number.

It was good at first...
Sales Execution Associate (Former Employee) - Durham Region, ON - 24 August 2020
Started off loving working here, management was amazing. But that changed once they hired new management, trying to get a response from them in a timely manner was impossible. The training for the sales position was a joke. Supposed to have a tablet to train never got it until a week after my training. Management hand out empty promises and false incentives like candy.
Pros
Work alone
Cons
Management talks a big game but never back it up.

Physical demanding. Unfair cuts to hourly employees.
Sales Execution Associate (Current Employee) - Barrie, ON - 15 April 2020
This is a very physical demanding job with little compensation. The company Coca-Cola was recently franchised across all of Canada and the new owners are introducing all kinds of cuts at the employees expense. I would not recommend working for this company if you have other opportunities. It’s all about the bottom line. they say they are a “family company” but I would suggest otherwise as they constantly take more and more from the employees at the bottom of the corporate ladder to save money.

Salaries/ benefits are not okay Vs the effort done in the sales job
sales execution associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 3 September 2019
Coke Canada is a big and strong organization ,but they are paying attention to the office based management team more than the field sales/merch. team .
they need to pay attention more to the field sales team

Coca Cola refreshments workplace culture is one of respect for all persons no matter race or gender, and there is equal opportunities for all.
