Great if the higher ups are good
Visual merchandiser (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 18 April 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI worked at Coca Cola for a few years. The job is physically demanding however if you’re someone who wants to be in different places doing fast paced work on your own terms it’s great. The team below the corporate is amazing, the merchandisers, sales reps and sales development team are great. You feel part of a team if you put in the communication to talk to your co workers. My only issue is the higher up corporate side can feel like a different planet, a lot of your asks or concerns are lost in translation. If you want to be part of a great team and work relatively alone managing your own times and pace this job is great.

There is lots of room for advancement. Culture is really good and everyone is supportive. Everyday is something new which makes work exciting. Good place to start out and grow.

Not the Best Place to Work
Production Planner/Scheduler (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 2 September 2022
Overall, the company is decent. However, there is no room for growth & salary & benefits aren't competitive. Training and support was terrible in this role.

Inside Sales Representative
Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Brampton - 12 May 2022
While there is much power that comes with working for a big name like Coca Cola, it’s run like the family business that it is, with not the best family dynamics. Major changes since new ownership and not for the better. As much as they say there are many opportunities for growth, there isn’t. You may be good enough to do the job while they find a candidate, but won’t hire you. If they see you’re a hard worker and competent, they’ll give you more work for the same significantly below average pay, and still not give you a promotion. Ridiculously low pay in the call Center (17-19$ per hour) makes it impossible to survive on these wages. It’s basically poverty. Lots of incompetent ppl because of the low salary, so the rest of us pick up the slack. Call Center is bottom of the barrel. Many long service employees fired for refusing vaccine. Forced back to the office even though we were working remote before Covid. Major micromanaging.
Pros
3 weeks vacation to start
Cons
Very low pay that is not competitive to the market, No opportunities for growth, the better you perform the more work they’ll give you for the same pay

Average place to work
Equipment service (Current Employee) - Brampton, ON - 18 March 2022
Good management and supportive team members but low salary compare to similar jobs. Don't expect too much from the company. However, good work-life balance.

Stressful
Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 3 March 2022
The communication aspect is horrible. The job can be physically challenging on your body. Mgmt will belittle you if you can’t complete your day. Forget about a work/life balance because when you go home, you’ll be exhausted.

I really enjoyed working here.
Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 20 February 2022
I loved working at Coke. To be clear, this was the Brampton location. While training was a little lacking, it was not a stressful environment. Everything was, for the most part, pretty laid back. Day to day was working in a call centre, taking and answering calls, punching information into the computer. Supervisors were nice and fair. The only thing I didn't like was the way time off was booked. But overall, great place.
Pros
Good working environment. Laid back.
Cons
Not much training.

in Brampton, ONFast & Challenging - Prepare for Limited Work-Life Balance
SEL (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 15 September 2021
If you work hard, show dedication, and strive to continuously improve yourself and those around you, you will be successful and open endless advancement or cross-promotion opportunities. Management is often fast to recognize leaders and offer further development. Field sales is competitive, and performance is often recognized and rewarded fairly. Along with working for a tier 1 company, there are lots of extra bonuses that you have access to: Events, Brand teams, Head Office exposure, opportunities to develop connections across industries, etc. Don't expect to be given anything, it needs to be earned. Unfortunately, most of these niceties are outweighed by the companies need to eliminate work-life balance. As you progress, the expectation (although not written) is that you will be constantly available. This is not a great place to work if you are looking for a 9-5 with Sat/Sun for refreshing and recuperating. This mindset is especially prominent on the sales side. You cannot "coast" in this environment and last long. Hanging up your work phone for a day is not an option, regardless if it's a long weekend or holiday. The salary for mid-level sales/sales management positions is well below the industry average. Benefits and bonuses have also been scaled back over the the years. In an industry that is relatively flat, don't bank on receiving maximum quarterly bonuses consistently. At the very least, good performance will net you a yearly cost of living increase based on a semi-annual and annual performance review.
Pros
Overall the people are generally great, opportunities for advancement if you're identified as "Hi-Po", Access to events and brands
Cons
No work life balance, pay well below industry avg.

Just a number
Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 29 March 2021
working at the call centre is will do immense damage on your mental health. Managers are horrible and not one good one at the call centre. They are either racist, or only help people of the same culture as them. Management always looks for faults and errors and never appreciates your hard work or never compliments a job well done. All they focus on is the negative. Imagine a survey went out and the result were that employees feeling burnt out and getting anxiety over quality. Instead of making it better, they made it harder. Imagine dealing with: - quality who always finds a reason to fail your calls e.g if you do not say the customer's name in the beginning of the call or if your tone is not upbeat. Some of them are heartless and will fail 90% of the calls marked. No matter how good you are, they will find faults or a reason to fail. Not to mention, these very same quality agents were horrible at their job taking back to back calls but delights in failing us. Your job depends on quality and sales ( another headache) hence the reason for high turnover rates and employees going on stress leave.
Pros
good benefits
Cons
bad treatment and just a number

Overworked and overwhelmed
Customer Service (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 22 October 2020
To many hires that they are aware are not going to stay as it's a stepping stone for some. Which isn't fair to the others that made it a career. They don't respect people with experience and as such made it clear by allowing millennial not work on Saturdays (as per what I witnessed with 1 employees). I could go on about other bs but that's for you to find out
Pros
Free drinks
Cons
Poor management

Business Development Manager (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 26 August 2020
Now that it is a Family owned business they have cut too many costs and good people. No job security, everyone on front line worried when the next cuts will come.
Pros
Excellent Brands
Cons
No job security

Mechanic
Fleet Mechanic (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 15 August 2019
Working in the fleet department as a mechanic is very stressful. Manager has no information about anything, poor discussion making
Rate of pay is below average! everyone else in the plant makes at least $10 per hour compared to same type of work out side coke.
Pros
You can work here for ever if you are hard working
Cons
Unorganized, clueless when it comes to fleet safety, different rule for everyon, no traning, no guidance, no appreciation. No respect
