Coach Store Manager
Assocaite Manager (Current Employee) - Texas - 12 April 2016
Overall a good balance of work/life. Store life is typical of a retail environment: varied shifts and roles, opening and closing shifts. Benefits are great and pay is fair for level of experience. Corporate management is new and culture changes constantly.
Pros
Work life balance.
Cons
Communication from corporate can be misleading and difficult to decifer within store teams.

Micro Managed Robots
Management (Former Employee) - New Jersey - 1 July 2021
Company structure is wonderful but Coach takes It to another level! Everything is micro managed, managers watch cameras in the back and then call the floor to ask what you are doing and or talking about. Especially when they see you interact with a customer and the customer leaves without buying. They even do it after the customer buys, will ask “How many things did he/she purchase? Also, they often jump in during your sale to ad their two cents. It’s a mess! Great for new sellers, a pain in the a*s if you are a seasoned seller. Breaks are 30-45 min, shifts are 8-8.5 hours long. 2, 15 min breaks IF business allows.. Easy to sell and commission can be great if store does well. Pay can be great, work environment totally sucks. Coworkers are like robots. Coach expects you to basically be robots, talking the same, dressing the same, very little room to be an individual.
Pros
Discount, benefits, 401K, pay
Cons
Short breaks, boring, micro management, being watched all day
