Great coworkers, garbage managment
Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) –  Fort McMurray, AB7 June 2019
The guys working there are skilled and friendly. The managers and office staff are the worst in the industry. ClearWater is run by ClearStream, and the excellent reputation Clearwater had was destroyed by Clearstream. They preach safety until its not convenient for them. Equipment is old, manager refused to get proper tools or consumables.
Pros
Great coworkers
Cons
Clearstream owns it

People good... management/supervisors power trip
Foreman (Former Employee) –  Syncrude27 March 2018
Some good ppl to work with but they have no clue how to treat their workers. As soon as you don't do something your supervisor likes they will do whatever to fire you like making up stuff anything to get you gone so they can bring in their friends. Worked out there and supervisor had more personal friends on crews and couldn't keep anything confidential. Everyone knew personal stuff that was told to them by supervisor. They can't keep their fleet of vehicles maintained at all and they are always breaking down. Horrible company
Pros
None other then pay
Cons
Managment and supervisors on site

ClearWater is run by a bunch of accounting people who know nothing about Maintenance and Construction,,,stay away from them and look for a company that knows what their doing!

Belt splicing crew (Former Employee) –  Fort McMurray, AB4 November 2015
I learned a lot about belt splicing here and it helps me a lot with other aspect of the millwright trade. I like to learn as much as I can and also do as many different jobs I can do.

1st year apprentice pipefitter/ Labourer (Former Employee) –  Fort McMurray, AB16 September 2015
it is a great company to work for if you hold a journeyman ticket but as an apprentice it is difficult to get hours due to the short jobs, and layoffs.
Pros
lots of experience, long hours, great pay
Cons
too much downtime on jobs

Could use some more management and planning of the project, otherwise not too bad of a job.
