Meet some amazing people in this company over the years, hard working individuals that don't back down from a challenge. It was a privilege to work so close with so many of them.
Management was tough to deal with at many points. Plans never felt thought out, future prospects and vision (or lack there of) was held close chested. They use their people till the breaking point only to toss a small bone here and there to show them a small glimmer of light might be at the end of the tunnel.
Work before family if you're not in a management position. Do what I say not what I do mentality.
If they could keep the people and toss out 1 or 2 managers this would be a great place to be.
Working for this company was an incredibly poor experience. Very little support in the field while troubleshooting their troublesome systems. When there were difficulties, management consistently laid the blame at the feet of the worker in the field. Annual turnover at some locations were over 100%.
Depending on the projects at the time workload would differ day to day, along with travel. The advancement in new designs and engineering in new plants and technology was every changing and was great to take a part in the building of new plants.
A typical day at work covered everything from management of ongoing build projects to providing the complete rental fleet customer service. While this provided an exciting and challenging work environment it also provided massive frustration as there was not enough time in a day to focus on all of the details that required attention. The team at Clearbakk was great, every member of the field team always did the best they could to ensure that every other member of the team had the support that was required to succeed. The same cannot be said for the upper management at Clearbakk.
great freedom and opportunity to learn
very long hours. no overtime. no respect for the effort put in.
Clearbakk energy services is a company full of potential, and full of great people. However, pay was only adequate, and work was seasonal. I hope this company experiences the success I think they can obtain.
