Amazing atmosphere where you are rewarded for your hard work.
You definitely learn how to manage your time wisely and think about how to work smarter and not harder. The days are long, but it goes by fast if you keep working hard all day. The crew leaders are great guys to work with, they will work you like a dog but it helps you learn to work hard and keep going even when you're frustrated/tired. Hardest part - more ... of the job is either the constant tension on your back (from picking up and laying down sod/pavers) , or the long hot days (when it gets above 30 degrees). Have lots of water and snacks with you as your will become both hungry and dehydrated throug ... - less
ProsMake a lot of money, they are more than willing to pay you time and a half.
