Worked as casual in different departments, training in each was provided. Supervisors and management were very nice and flexible and provided positive feedbacks.

Fast , efficient , knew who they were looking for . Fast background check . Checking in at the new job location was well handled . All the city hall people were very helpful .

Great staff to work with

A typical day working this job would include arriving at the ice rink (during fall/winter) or field (during the summertime) and setting up the activities or making sure the ice is safe to skate on. The most enjoyable part of this job were the people I worked with, but the downside to this job were the shift lengths. A usual shift at the rink would be about 2-4 hours (depending on the day).

Flexible

Skate staff have a very flexible schedule that is easy to fit in around other jobs and school. Great job for students looking for short part time hours.

It was really great working for the city. I felt i could confidently do my job well and always had a great relationship with my boss and co-workers. Loved working here
