In garbage collection work life balance is amazing, you work Tuesday through Friday 10 hour shifts with every Saturday Sunday and Mondays off, lots of time with family especially if you have young children.
If you have a very good reason and proof to support it. It's not the most flexible work environment, even arranging medical appointments can be somewhat of an issue sometimes.
To a certain extent. You need To be assertive and explain why you need the schedule changes, perhaps, due to Medical Issues, religion ,etc. They're pretty understanding.
I believe so. I was hired for election support. It was a short contract.
