Was once a great place to work but management has become an issue. Seems who you know in the front office means more than work ethic and time put in. Union Reps only care about themselves and spend their time kissing managements butt to climb up the ladder. Lots of backstabbing and seniority means nothing. Director of Parks & Rec as well as the CAO have destroyed the relationship and respect between them and many of their employees.

summer was grass cutting , weed eating , garbage pick up in parks & campgrounds In the winter operating refrigeration units for ice , resurface ice with Zamboni , sweeping , mopping , of recreation facilities Caretaking banquet halls , setting up and taking down and clean up
meeting new people, watching some really good hockey, ringette, figure skating, broom ball
