Groundskeeper (Former Employee) – Grande Prairie, AB – 30 November 2017
I enjoyed my seasonal job with the City Great workers and place to work. Lots of public interaction and the staff were great when I started welcoming me to the place.
Program Support/Guest Services Representative (Current Employee) – Grande Prairie, AB – 23 January 2017
The City of Grande Prairie is a great place to work, with many opportunities and a variety of jobs available. The people are encouraging and great to work with, with a focus on building strong teams and working together for the people of Grande Prairie. The work is never really the same from day to day, which keeps you from getting bored. There are also many opportunities to gain new training and new skills. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people I get to work with.

Summer Student/ SBC Crew (Former Employee) – Grande Prairie, AB – 23 September 2015
They always worked with your life schedule, whether that had to do with school, another job, or family. Working for the City of Grande Prairie was probably by far my favourite job. They were always energetic, and always there to help you. I generally worked 7am-3pm and that shift is probably the best.

Special Constable (Former Employee) – Grande Prairie, AB – 13 August 2015
I was the first contact with the General Public. There were 3 of us working front counter at that time, in conjunction with the RCMP members. The hardest part of the job was definitely the tragedy that can happen in the blink of an eye. I very much enjoyed helping people and directing them to their next course of action.
