What is a typical day like for you at the company?

Driving in all weather conditions. Depending on seniority will determine type of shift start time and end time usually. Dealing with the general public all through your shift providing excellent customer service. Dealing with route and schedule questions etc. from passengers. Dealing with vehicle issues occasionally. Not a lot of time for breaks depending on shift and route. Dealing with traffic and road construction daily. Road Detours are expected during warmer seasonal construction around the city. Sometimes learning new routes at short notice.

Always by following the instructions from the foreman

Defending decisions daily. Putting up with miserable and jaded employees who know they can never be disciplined for doing a bad job, or for being disrespectful to colleagues and leaders. Attending meetings without decisions being made except to have more meetings or have more committees created, reporting to senior leader who has no meetings or work to do daily except to visit with fellow senior leaders and criticize all their own leaders who are working like dogs, and stressed beyond comprehension.
