It can take anywhere from 72 hours to several weeks depending on the type of security clearance conducted based on the position (it could be a simple police information check or a vulnerable sector search). I cannot recall at this time, but I would assume it would require a background check as this position involves handling some sensitive private information of the citizens of Calgary.
