The job relied heavily on sales targets and meeting those targets. The management did not care about how well you were trained and the knowledge you needed to acquire to advice the client, but focused more on selling to client.

I have not worked for CIBC for many years, when I was there, there was a lot of internal changes and shifting and reorganization. I suppose this comes with large businesses.

CIBC is an excellent financial institution to work with. There are many different departments that you can be a part of and the management structure is professional and cohesive. Everyone gets along well and the atmosphere is great for networking and learning while on the job.

Would take inbound and outbound calls on all different past due products. Speak to clients figure out best way to resolve depending on financial position and situation. Learned to work using more than on computer system at a team. Multitasking was an asset. Management was great and team leaders very helpful and understanding. Hours of the job were very difficult also all calls were recorded and scored. Most enjoyable part was learning different systems, working with the people I worked with.
