Once you are working here at the contact centres and try to get out of contact centre job within the same bank it is almost impossible they will either put you in different department call centre or you stay in your position for years even though you are excelling in your role. So unless you want to be stuck on the phones forever this isn’t a really good career path to take

CiBC is a very good company to work for. The call centre pays well, and has various shifts to fit your lifestyle. They offer good benefits. You have to be able to meet sales expectations.

Credit Counselor (Former Employee) - 750 Lawrence Avenue, Toronto ON
The lack of a consistent management as manager was always absent. Staff was left most days in managed. Had to depend on a backup system that was not always available to team.
Pros
Employee recognition
Cons
Stressful environment at times
