What would you suggest Chucks Roadhouse Bar and Grill management do to prevent others from leaving?

4 answers

  • Provide staff with the tools and resources required to succeed, work with them as opposed to against them, better communication, less favouritism and unfair treatment, be more polite and encouraging to staff as opposed to unnecessarily belittling and aggressive.

  • Hire all new people, clean more, be there for your staff, actually train your staff.

  • They need to have a more organized management. The owner of my location does not have any knowledge on how a restaurant works. The management also has such a lack of communication. They also need better training. I never was trained there before. They threw me on the floor & expected to figure everything out on my own. It was my first time working at a restaurant. Took months to learn how to get good at my job. I try my best to train new employees because I know how hard it is to start out there. Another thing is that the staff does not get enough appreciation. You could be the best employee they’ve hired & if you make one little unharmful mistake, you’re looked down on for the day. We don’t get any discounts either. I think this is normal for the restaurant industry, but we don’t get breaks either. But I’m pretty sure they still take 15 mins off of our paycheques anyways. Also with the restaurant industry we don’t get told our finishing time. They give us a start time, & then you work until they no longer need you there. Overall, I suppose Chuck’s was a good first job for me. I learned a lot, the hard way. I will now be prepared for any other job because of how difficult this one was.

  • They need to treat their employees better. They need to pay them till they are done cleanup and counting cash and not just 30 mins as on busy nights it takes alot longer to clean up. Stop taking bar staff and servers tips and pay their cooks more money!
