Promising potential, flawed execution
My time with Chubb saw me working under possibly the best supervisor I've seen in the fifteen years I've been employed in the Fire Alarm Industry. Co-workers, salesmen and office staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful people, and assistance is easy to come by while you are learning the product.
On the corporate side, things are a little worse. High level management seems to have trouble trusting technician's opinions, and will unfairly blame technicians for jobs gone wrong from a management perspective. Multiple customers have voiced their displeasure with management over the time I've worked at Chubb, as information is not reliably relayed to the customer at times.
As long as you are capable of handling customer interactions, working at Chubb should be a pleasure.
