Awesome benefits and overall a good company, but Canadian business unit is suffering from the lack of growth opportunities. There is almost no attrition due to the great benefits and pay.

Worst place to work
Sales Associate/Cashier (Current Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 9 May 2023
They expect you to clean all pumps outside daily and stand all day and if you have any free time left they tell you to clean outside windows as well. Managers are always polite on face but really hate their lives and don't know why they are working there. The owner is same too, only polite on face.
Cons
No overtime, No Stat pay

Supportive environment
Data Analyst (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - 22 February 2023
I worked for Chevron for most of my career. Was able to grow and develop my career as I grew, and was given the opportunity to take continuing education to ensure I continued to develop. I had great bosses and some not so great but the teams I worked in were always positive.

Okay place to work temporarily
Gas Station Attendant/Cashier (Former Employee) - Princeton, BC - 4 February 2023
Low wages for what you deal with. Management had no passion and continues to not care about their employees safety. Concerns are not taken seriously, lack of training, lack of respect for employees and ignorant to the fact that safety should be number one.

Basic pay

Work here if you need a part time job or you really need some money to survive. Not the best place if you are looking for proper training or any significant career advancements.

Stressful work environment
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Surrey, BC - 14 December 2022
Good job if you want to work part time with little to no experience. Flexible. The private owners can be mean and rude. Little to no job security. No benefits

Learn so many things day by day as a CSR
CSR, Sales (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 8 May 2022
I really enjoy working at chevron. The management staff is very good and help all the staff members to learn new skills and give proper training. The manager is really polite and nice in nature, which is the main thing to work under this kind of personality. Besides all this, its really feel amazing when we meet and greet new people and serve them the best customer service.
