Good organization to work at provided you enjoy oppression and office politics.
Sr. Safety Promotions Officer (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC21 August 2017
Good organization to work at provided you enjoy oppression and office politics. Supports long-term employment but you may be discarded abruptly for any reason.

Organisation no longer values employees' contributions and personally input; purely cost-driven.
Pros
Flexible work schedules. Benefits.
Cons
Poor communication. Office politics. Indecisiveness.

Excellent infrastructure, great technical people
Senior Business Intelligence Specialist (Current Employee) –  Richmond, BC27 January 2016
World class infrastructure in geo-redundant data centers with high-availability built in. Operationally solid architecture serves a 24/7 global business flawlessly.
The BI group at CHC services multiple operational data marts in flight services, maintenance, finance, human resources, supply chain, and senior leadership.
Working here exposes you to the rigours of 24/7 uptime, and a business that really does depend on the data we provide. Tailoring systems for high-availability and recovery in this environment is challenging and a good learning experience.
Unfortunately, true BI hasn't yet taken hold in CHC - data quality, analysis, and integration isn't highly developed. The recent slump in the economy has also not looked favourably on innovation in IT.

Not stable work environment, people quit, leave or get fired unexpected after many years of service
Logistics Analyst (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, BC17 February 2013
Difficult to get promotions after many years of service, career advancement not based on accomplishments or experience or positive feedback from peers... You have to be 'part of the family' kind of culture..
Senior Management constantly changes, every year over the last 5 years. Company ruled presently by consultants.
Pros
benefits, salary
Cons
career advancement not based on efficiency or value
