Great staff, residents fantastic, management supportive. Long hours to complete tasks. I enjoyed my job immensely. Never had z problem to get requested time off. Workplace culture was always zbout the residents. Staff were always helpfull.

I have worked here for almost 5 years, approachable and helpful management, great team work, flexible hours, good benefits for full and part time people. Very rewarding job as get to help seniors. Have enough staff support.

Accommodative and supportive

Accommodating by other staffs, and I understand more about working with others, the management team is very helpful, their staff are and management where not after any country you belong to; not stressful because it’s what you are their for, very very enjoyable since their is no different between each others.

Good company to work for

Worked at Chartwell for 2.5 years. During the pandemic the GM and the leadership team worked together to overcome obstacles and impact of ever changing government directives. GM was mindful of the impact of the pandemic on all employees and went above and beyond to create a safe and supportive environment. Corporate pivoted quickly to provide resources and tools to the ever changing situations. Job expectations were adjusted and reasonable given circumstances. Chartwell has defined and clear Mission and Vision which is woven into the framework. The culture is driven to provide outstanding customer service to Resident and all stakeholders. Employees can feel proud of the work they do and enjoy it.Training was provided. I was impressed by Chartwell's customer experience training program. Regular feedback and weekly scheduled meetings with GM and DRS to support, encourage and discuss challenges and successes. Additional coaching and training is available to be successful in your role. Resources readily available for all roles.Annual job performance reviews were done well. Opportunity for growth and development in the company. Ongoing recognition and rewards for achieving set goals and objectives. Chartwell is a good organization to work for. All healthcare related jobs have challenges. At Chartwell you are supported by your GM and leadership team.

Entreprise avec une vision ontarienne. Milieu de vie agréable avec les personnes âgées. Ambiance agréable. Tout dépend des gestionnaires sur places. Avantageux si fait partie de l’équipe cadre sinon salaire et avantages moins intéressant. Doivent revoir la formation et l’accompagnement.

Gestion inadéquate

Après plus de 47 ans d'expérience dans différents services à la clientèle, j'ai constaté que chez Chartwell St-Jérome, la direction ne résout pas les problèmes. Elles préfèrent te congédier plutôt que des les résoudre. C'est la Loi de l'Omerta.

Chartwell is a place where residents can feel safe, taken care of with compassion, dedication, and a strive for excellence. A passionate team of staff with one goal to care for the needs of the residents. I could not make a better recommendation. Activities are always engaging, exciting and meeting needs: Exercises, music, outings, dress up days, lots of festivities. Hairdresser on site. A wonderful place for residents to call home.Staff show their passion for residents and lead by example. A great team of staff to work for.

It takes good orientation and training to know the job and residents.

This is a good place to work if you enjoy helping seniors. The job is advertised as a personal support working but you will be doing Housekeeping and helping in the dining room. The residents and xo-workers are great.

La direction générale ne vérifie pas le travail effectué ni ne s assure de relever ce que la direction des soins améliore, sur le département.Pas de vérification de gestion. Laisse la personne en poste, se débrouiller seule à son arrivée. Aucune présence n est effectuée sur le département.Aucun suivi téléphonique ne serait-ce qu' hebdomadaire par la directrice regionaleAucun support ni aucune présence de la directrice régionale.Fais son suivi par les oui-dire et ne se questionne pas si sa directrice de soins a besoin d' aide.Manque totalement de support de la direction.
