Terrible experience. Do not work here or recommend it to anyone
Working at Chartwell was a miserable experience. I worked the night shift from 11pm-7am. The work load was just absurd for one person. Some nights I would have 10-13 loads of laundry to wash, dry and fold it all , making it look perfect, then put inside laundry bags and deliver it all to the rooms. it was fun
in my opinion, I enjoyed working in this company as a volunteer, but the people in the other buildings were atrocious at most, at the very least they were tolerable. the most enjoyable part of working there was interacting with the elderly people, and the many friends I made there.Staff in Kitchener, ON

Terrible place to work management team is useless
If your offered a job here turn it down! The pay is terrible! And the management team is worse than the pay! They require you toBend over backwards for little pay and no appreciation. And will manipulate their non English speaking staff to no end. Even the management team is looking for new jobs, no one is happy. I feel bad for the residents that live there bad food, terrible activities dept. an...What would you say about your employer?
