Manager (Current Employee) – Brampton, ON – 10 April 2018
The common thing that I hear from drivers at Charger is about how respectful and welcoming the office staff is. This is a rarity in the industry. The equipment is all very nice. New tractors and trailers, always clean. Charger is growing at a rapid rate and it is impressive how well they have welcomed this growth.
Truck Driver (Current Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 21 July 2016
The CEO is a great guy. He seems educated but can only manage so much as one person. The company's dispatch is handed to a guy who is arrogant, and very unprofessional. They dispatch drivers with no idea of when they will get back home. Its a serious time waster. I have been on trips where I spent 20 hours waiting to get back with no additional compensation.
Senior Management Associate (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 8 April 2015
Charger Logistics is a relatively new company in the transportation business but the hard work and persistence of the management has brought it face to face with the big players. Several big contracts scored over few years has got the ball rolling for the company which has expanded numerous folds in a very short period. It is mainly based of south Asian employees, which is their biggest asset and also the worst drawback. Having to work in a family run business where there is no formal panel of discussion gives it a rigid feel but also grooms one for tougher challenges in the corporate world.
