Good place to work, pay is not that great for the cost of living! But overall it's good
It's a busy environment for sure but the day goes by very fast specially that we get 1h lunch

Training was almost non existant; very little support from management and co-workers; toxic environment where everyone hated their jobs; a place where you always had to watch your back. Definitely the worse work environment I have ever been in.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Toxic work environment

High volume work load and since it is related to health care it is stressful, I have learned a few unique Administrative skills like minute taking and new computer programs.
Management is not always available but being in a union environment they are not always in a position to be helpful.

Generally the culture is pleasant, not a really close knit group due to some of the employees not being on site (work from home) or many home visits so not always in office.

The hardest part of the job is the stress level due to fact the end users is patients often with high needs in many areas of health care.

The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing we are able to help people that really need it. :)

Enjoyed helping clients ,setting up services and supporting them in the community which is very rewarding. However, workload is often heavy and when taking holidays little can get done depending on who is covering as many are just coasting. Management (especially the low level managers) which we report to, are not trained to manage anything and even less people, are metrics oriented and offer little genuine support. It is like they all read from a script-so artificial, so fake, never seen anything like it. Workplace culture is fragmented, secretive, and toxic. Needs a clean up, especially in management and at all levels.

Cons
Management, toxic environment
