Great restoration cabinetry department that helps people get get home after disasters. Fabrication and install and everything in between. I love the team spirit of young journeyman and red seal cabinet makers that are all passionate about cabinetry. We work everywhere and build everything from kitchens to apartments and commercial millwork. It’s always amazing to do the initial assessment after a flood or fire and see the damage and the upset, but then to be the team that rebuilds and gets people home. Very satisfying. There’s always new construction jobs, multi units, residential and everything in between so it’s always different and interesting. Not sure what else to say other that it’s a great company that’s growing massively, is seen as a leader in the restoration industry and is apart of the A1Group a huge growing Canadian company.

Friday beers, company BBQs, team spirits, chilled environment with space for flexibility

I've worked for several restoration company's and by far Centurion is the best one ive worked for mike is a great ceo and easily approachable and the p.ms actually listen to the guys in the field and other trades in the company aren't out to back stab each other trying to make themselves look good ,there's no perfect company's out there to work for but after 20 plus years in the trades this one is pretty dam close in my option

Good H.R, fair wages, understand that life happens sometimes

Cons

Work orders come in late sometimes but understandable

I've been employed by Centurion for a little over 2 months now. I came to this company from a union shop, the wages and perks/benefits are on par and in some cases better than what I was getting with the Union. I would highly recommend working for them

Pros

Medical/dental coverage. Company Van and fuel card

Cons

Commutes can be long as they serve the entire lower mainland and parts of the valley

Toxic work environment

I can only express my experience as other might differ but I found working here to be a toxic work environment. From how management dealt with the work flow of there employees using a phone app that tracked everything from work done in the day to employees location. To how there was a division from the installers to shop crew. Lack of experience with people in key roles, large attitudes, the un-willing ness to take advice, and overall unprofessionalism. I also found that there was very much anti-vax opinions within this company, for a company that sends employees to clinics homes and companies I felt that this was unprofessional. At the time of writing this review I would not recommend working for this company

Toxic enviroment at management level

Had to take management to arbitration for breach of contract and constructive dismissal. Generally a stressful enviroment with no recognition for a job well done. Promises made and not kept.

Enjoyable working environment

Journeyman Carpenter (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 30 October 2018

As a carpenter, they give you a lot of freedom. You get a work order the night before, pick up materials you need in the morning to do the job then go to the job and complete. Sometimes working with other carpenters/ trades and coordinating with them and the PM. That was a typical day for me. You do get the odd job that is a nightmare but for the most part i enjoyed working here.

One of the best companies I ever worked for. They gave me the chance to succeed since day one, and let my voice be heard on the jobsite. Lots of freedom when it comes to start or finishing times. Lots of extra hours if your wanting them.
