One of the worst places to work.
Accounts Payable Clerk (Former Employee) –  Concord, ON15 January 2019
Management is so snobby and that trickles down to all the old employees. Everyone is ready to stab you in the back. Dont work here there are far more better people to work for. What work has causal fridays but you still cant come in jeans or black jeans or tights. Must always wear business clothing in the office. All open to shoes must have a strap around the ankle, no big jewelry. But yet there is a woman there that has a picture of herself in a bikini at her desk. But that's ok. They has all their priorities all mixed up. Plus half of the people don't even do there jobs, they pass the buck to others so if there is a mistake they can just blame them. Plus they really dont pay well. DON'T WORK HERE.
Pros
The 1 hour lunch
Cons
Backstabbing, people are rude, management very snobby, everyone talks behind you back

Health and Safety Co-ordinator/Manager Floater (Current Employee) –  Vaughn/Toronto18 November 2013
Central Fairbank Lumber is a great place to work but like any other it does have its challenges. Regretfully the miss trust and lack of open communications with Sr. Managers can be frustrating at times. I have had the opportunity to learn alot with Central and the many M.O.L. investigations (we are a manufacturing facility that has a wholesale and retail) that we have gone through and have developed many Policies and Proceedures to eliminate any like accidents from happening again. I find this aspect most challenging but also rewarding.
Pros
Good Pay
Cons
Very Long Hours
