I found the pay good, the benifits decent and they do offer a small bonus program ( then never get it right tho). I found managment was the main problem that keeps moral low and constant turnover. Managment will never admit when one of their own makes a bad call. They would rather get rid of good employees than admit one of the good old boys screwed up. No accountability for the managment team. Also a good deal of the managers are not qualified for their jobs, they promot based on a buddy buddy system not a skill system.
Pros
good pay good benifits and great camp....best one i have seen.
Cons
managment is a good old boys club who won't police themselves.

Very inexperienced supervisor team especially the Superintendant. Backup shift supervisor was a 1 year journeyman and happened to be the superintendents BROTHER!!!!.

Management needs some work, the management wasn't very personable and seemed to favor some employees over others. Overall great place to work, camp facility is likely the nicest in northern BC.

Management is awful. Preach safety but don't follow their own rules. Good workers are left feeling ignored and demoralized while lazy workers (sleeping, late, not showing up at all, breaking policy) are constantly overlooked. Management plays favorites so if youre friends with the shifter you can get away with pretty much anything. Management is a revolving door. Current managment doesn't care less about encouraging positive and safe working environment unless there is any incident. Guess what... ppl are stealing and committing all sorts of infractions right under your noses while hard workers beg for something to be done. The pay is "good" for anyone who's never worked a camp job but significantly less than many other mines- once you reach top TEC rate you're done. Non unionized environment just makes all this easier for them to get away with.
Would push a broom for min wage than to ever work here again.
Pros
Nice new camp
Cons
Management selective in addressing issues, demoralizing enviroment, freinds of mgmt routinely get special treatment, site

Lots of travel, diverse mine sites. Operations well run, due diligence and business development a little unorganized. Benefits were good and work environment was professional

Progressive and professional management team, safety is put first with every task performed at Mount Milligan. The camp is a first rate, and run by local first nations. For my first camp life stay, this place is a 5 start company.
Pros
Activities from everyone
Cons
Bears in the area...no evening walks

Management is awful! They preach safety in all there meetings but not when a job needs to get done, they'll write you up for doing an unsafe job, then they refuse to get the proper safety equipment tellng you it's not in the budget... There is no consistency in disciplinary action also, it depends on who you know in management. Mine manager definitely needs to go back to USA. Absolutely terrible place to work.
Pros
Rotation
Cons
Management/ People/ Culture

I don't have good things to say about this employer. I guess seven days on, seven days off was the most appealing thing about it. Good benefits as well. outside of that, poor culture there and a lot of bitter people.
Pros
Good benefits
Cons
Poor culture. Very low morale.
