Bad managment but good pay and benifits, good camp.
supervisor (Former Employee) – Mount Milligan, BC – 18 June 2018
I found the pay good, the benifits decent and they do offer a small bonus program ( then never get it right tho). I found managment was the main problem that keeps moral low and constant turnover. Managment will never admit when one of their own makes a bad call. They would rather get rid of good employees than admit one of the good old boys screwed up. No accountability for the managment team. Also a good deal of the managers are not qualified for their jobs, they promot based on a buddy buddy system not a skill system.
good pay good benifits and great camp....best one i have seen.
managment is a good old boys club who won't police themselves.
Mill Maintenance Planner & CMMS Implementer (Current Employee) – Mount Milligan, BC – 30 May 2018
Progressive and professional management team, safety is put first with every task performed at Mount Milligan. The camp is a first rate, and run by local first nations. For my first camp life stay, this place is a 5 start company.
Truck Driver/Equipment Operator (Former Employee) – Fort St James, BC – 28 March 2018
Management is awful! They preach safety in all there meetings but not when a job needs to get done, they'll write you up for doing an unsafe job, then they refuse to get the proper safety equipment tellng you it's not in the budget... There is no consistency in disciplinary action also, it depends on who you know in management. Mine manager definitely needs to go back to USA. Absolutely terrible place to work.
Electrician, Site Service (Former Employee) – Milligan Mine – 26 September 2017
I don't have good things to say about this employer. I guess seven days on, seven days off was the most appealing thing about it. Good benefits as well. outside of that, poor culture there and a lot of bitter people.
