Bad management and a lot of turmoil
Counsellor (Former Employee) –  Richmond Hill, ON12 June 2019
I worked there for a while and there was a lot of turmoil which created instability, anxiety and stress over new and old staff. Management was without clear direction, they lied to us when they gave feedback or 'news'about the next steps. A lot of people were fired for no reasons from one day to another. Some of them just started few weeks before and they had over 30yrs of experience in their field. If the situation won't change I will never recommend to work there. Their services is valuable for the community of york region but unfortunately they are not delivering a good service at the moment. I hope things will change.

Program Coordinator (Former Employee) –  York Region Ontario30 September 2017
This organization is very dedicated to it's mission of helping newcomers adapt and thrive in their new country.

As with all management, there were some issues, but never enough to stop the job from being done.

I have mainly learnt how to work with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. That is an eye opener to different cultures.
