Conservative workplace with restricted growth potential
QA Associate (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 12 September 2017
This is a workplace with generally good people, slow pace and very conservative approach. Needs to promote real quality of work, they are focused only to fulfill the routine requirements. There is less sense of team work.
Analytical Scientist Intern (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 30 September 2018
Thoroughly enjoyed my internship at Catalent. I was given many responsibilities and as a result, I developed and refined many professional skills including: analytical experimentation and data analysis, technical writing and my organization and communication skills.
Office Staff (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 14 September 2018
It's the norm to see at least one person crying a day from stress. There is not enough people to ensure a high level of quality and safety. Nobody knows what is going on because it's a revolving door. The only time you hear from management is when they are looking to cast blame for their mistakes, rather than working on solutions. The pay is terrible for the amount of work and abuse an employee has to deal with. The company would rather it's employees keep quit than voicing concerns of any kind.
I wouldn't recommend this company, if you value ethics and your reputation
Production Worker (Current Employee) – Windsor, Ontario – 6 September 2018
Currently work here, had a decent few months, you are underpaid and undervalued in an environment where employees, supervisors and management are so set in their ways that they refuse to see and appreciate good work and any issues you may have are just swept under the rug.
manager (Former Employee) – Strathroy, ON – 3 July 2018
Catalent as a larger organization seems like a great company, however, the new Canadian location is awful. I worked in the office area in Strathroy and the senior leadership is questionable. Is by far the worst culture I have been apart of. Old poorly running inventory management system filled with errors, no ownership of processes and senior leadership holding meetings to blame people for errors rather than solving the root cause. The only department with a good manager is R&D.
Junior staff are nice people
No leadership or knowledgeable managers to drive change
Production Worker (Current Employee) – Strathroy-Caradoc, ON – 25 June 2018
Human Resources as well as management are lacking in following procedures and treating employees in a respectable manner. Questions, comments or concerns are viewed as an inconvenience and are not taken into consideration.
