Cashier in Regina, SK

work okay
It's a good starting job for students, or anyone who wants to get experience. It gets really tiring tho as the company tries to cut labour especially if it's not busy. For the most part it was fun and productive, but when you're all alone doing pretty much everything, it get's to ya. Don't expect any raises tho or higher pay. It get's too much for for little compensation.

not worth the stress
I never got any formal training. They gave me 30 minutes on a practice screen and then they pushed me into rush hour. when they let me go, they didnt even tell me anything. they just removed me from the schedule and they removed me from all work chats.

Great manager
Working in fast food is annoying in general, but the environment at this location was great. The owners, management, and all other staff played into the welcoming environment of this place.

Yeah, so it might be partially my fault I had a hard time working here. This was my first ever job and my parents only allowed me to work once a week, so I couldn't remember much of the training. My location was not busy at all, thus I barely ever had to work the cash register, so I couldn'f for the life of me remember how to use it. I was told to "always look busy," and I ended up sweeping and mo...
