it taught you what you needed to know
PAINTER AND DECORATING (Former Employee) –  Hounslow20 February 2014
it was good as a training collage because they taught the specific skills needed to earn a job with your specific trade. but they couldn't provide a long term job at the end of the contract period.
Pros
In phase two of training you got paid a basic apprentice wage
Cons
if your assessor wasnt in or absent they sent you home without pay.

Just cleaning all day
Food Court Attendant (Former Employee) –  Brandon, MB27 April 2018
Just like cleaning a fast food restaurant all day every day with virtually no opportunity for advancement. Management will still schedule you if you tell them you are unavailable months in advance and will need to be reminded but will usually find some way to give you the day off at the last minute. Would only take if desperate for work or it would be first job.
