Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Saskatchewan – 20 July 2018
I enjoyed working for Cargill in one province but with different styles of Management and constant change from head office they are a fly by night company. I loved working for the company until they promoted me and moved me out to a terrible location.
Large company, good pay, good benefits, good hours
Bad management, constant change, selling off assets, bad management
Plant Operator (Former Employee) – Camrose, AB – 31 March 2017
When I first started with Cargill it was a mismanaged but decent place to work. Over time as a new managr was brought in, it became a quagmire or gossip, teenage drama and no communication. The staff at the time were unprofessional, the management was lazy and poorly trained and the overall culture was very safety concious, yet did nothing to regard mental health. Overall, I would not recommend working for Cargill unless using it as a stepping stone to a better career.
Good customers, relaxed setting
No communication, poorly conceived ideas, time wasting
