Just ask anyone in Winnipeg that's in trades and they know about this place. Ask anyone in metal shop and they know. They're trying to finally change management but the damage is done, it's too late! There's really nothing else to be said as it has all been said already. Just don't work here.

Very toxic environment. You must prove yourself a worthy employee on a daily basis. Your job description can change arbitrarily. If you praise the management, and he likes you, you can stick around a bit longer. But even this would be temporary. You can be a top notch in your field but you would be treated like you know nothing about the job. There is nothing positive about working here. Avoid working here by all means, unless your other option is homelessness

Don't work here unless you are desperate
Horribly dirty shop, always rushed, always doing overtime. Their miller quit soon after I got hired, so they stuck me milling stiffeners to size. Horribly boring. I asked to go back on welding. They told me that if I didn't like it I could quit. So I did.

Wasn’t givin resources or access to information needed for the position.
Very secretive, groups like high school, no access or guidance on how they wanted things done but kept going back to “that’s not the Capitol Steel way”
