A workplace with full of politics and bureaucracy. If you don't want to do any acutal work, like workplace politics, it's the place for you. to
Unknown (Former Employee) - Victoria, BC - 6 June 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? You got a little bit more money ($2-3/hour) than other companies. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Politics everywhere. Those managers or supervisors thought they know more/better than the employee, so they keep making stupid decisions in technical field. Most of the projects are delivered as disaster. And taxpayers has to pay for their mistakes. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Politics, bureaucracy. Most technical issues became political issue because of office politics. What is a typical day like for you at the company? 30% time for doing your job, 20% time to fix the mistakes made by your supervisor, and the rest 50% for fighting to protect your scope of work.

No flexibility
Assistant Property Manager (Current Employee) - Victoria, BC - 12 February 2023
Management was terrible, no room to grow unless you have been there forever. no flexibility at all, have to make up all time off, or must use vacation. If you have a doctors appointment they don’t care, not allowed to work from home, no flex days. Alright pay if you are willing to be treated like garbage. Good luck finding parking for under 250$ a month.
Pros
Some people are nice
Cons
Management and flexibilty

Financial Division Position (Former Employee) - Victoria - 25 October 2021
Finance division is led by quite a few ex KPMG staff and bring that old school articuling culture with them. You are treated as a "junior" and verbally berated in the most awkward meetings imaginable.
