Meat Supervisor in Edmonton, AB

Good First Job
Capital is a good place to work if you are looking for a first job, or have immigrated and are in need of work experience to build a resume or build credit. Though if you are looking for a career or to support a family they are not the place for you. The pay leaves much to be desired, but the hours are the best you could ask for. The management structure is in need of reorganization, but the CEO is world-class and a genuine individual. There is very little to no opportunity for advancement within the company, as it is family owned and operated. Most of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Language can be a difficult barrier to navigate, as many of the staff are non-English speakers, but it is a very loud workplace, so there is not much opportunity for chit-chat anyways.

Please. Don't work here. If you are capable of working and learning higher skills go out and do it. This job was demeaning and boring. Its menial and you will actually lose acouple of IQ levels. Nothing but a bunch of bullhonks running this. Z

No thanks
Rough working conditions, working in 30 degree heat with glasses so you are unable to see what you are cleaning. No formal training, and under national average pay. Working with oversized hoses that are almost uncontrollable.
