Poor Senior Management
Senior Team Lead (Former Employee) –  Dartmouth, NS27 November 2018
The potential is there, however, the senior management is not.

Leadership and communication is a major flaw.

Examples:
-Communications are often heard via rumors, will little or no clarification.

-Leadership positions are often based on relationships with senior management.

-Junior\Management are often not given the tools or coaching to be successful.

- Senior Managers openly communicate to staff "everyone is replaceable".

-There is no opportunity to grow, as the company has no internal growth\performance retention strategy.

The list goes on...

Horrible Management
Consultant (Former Employee) –  MIsssissauga10 November 2018
Management is totally unqualified to be called Management. Not sure why / how they are in management positions, a spin off of igate and Indian mentality and the global brand reputation crumbles...and senior execs wonder WHY?

Horrible Management and work environment
Current Employee (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON1 November 2018
If you like backstabbing and gossip then this is the place for you. Management pretends to have your back but doesn't. Favoritism is a good word to describe the treatment there as well. Certain individuals get more privileges and perks.
Kissing up is a good way to get into management's good books. Just watch out though, when the time comes to stand up for yourself they will conspire with their favourites to get you written up and eventually fired. HR will do you no favours. They look the other way while Management covers each other's butts.
This company also has a lack of staff. You will work your butt off and get no reward other than to get more work.
This company is so cheap they don't even cover the Christmas Party. Now employees have to chip in money for us to even have one.

Good as a first job out of college/university. Not much chance of growth after 2-3 years. Not many innovative projects within Canada. Opportunities to travel if interested.

It,s a good place to start
Senior Compensation Specialist (Former Employee) –  Halifax Regional Municipality, NS29 July 2018
Capgemini is a good place to work. Although, some managers are involved in office politics by paying some employees more than their peer doing the same job responsibilities. This has resulted in bringing down the under paid employees morale.

Slow to start, not much to look forward to
Senior Associate (Current Employee) –  Dartmouth, NS14 July 2018
There are a number of departments that suffer from poor management. Even in the good departments there is rampant favoritism.

Do not surprised if you spend 1+ months waiting for IT access to begin actually doing work.

There is very little in the way of upward growth, especially no pay growth.

Would not recommend for a long-term career choice, however it is acceptable in the short term.
Cons
No Free Lunch, Few promotions, little incentive to do well

Digital Analyst & Account Management (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON10 July 2018
Working here is good if you want more of learning, but its a very bad paymaster compared to some of its competitors in the market.
I worked there for 3 years and the management didnt had any vision.

"Worst company ever worked...Frequent lay off...Use and throw employees"
Manager - Operations (Former Employee) –  Dartmouth, NS5 July 2018
I worked at Capgemini full-time. Worst company ever worked in my life so far, poor management. bad work culture with no proper set up.
No career growth. Rare training opportunity...Can't change department even though projects are not available.

Employees are least important, they ask employees to do whatever client ask to do, even though it's out of scope, and without willingness of employees to do, this really demotivate people.

Just recruit employees with no prior experience, and make them work live instead of training them and checking their skills.

If you just looking for survival job and pay, right place to have fun!

A good place to settle
Innovation Lead (Current Employee) –  London UK25 June 2018
Capgemini has a good working culture. Its a good place for those who seek job security. If you are ambitious, however, its just like any other company where you do what has been asked. If you do more, there are no monetary incentives.

I would rate this company a 3 as it still is a good brand to work with.
