Working in the gourmet food store was a great experience. Principally a customer service job, with inventory and personnel management week end cooking demos. Sadly after 5 years, maternity/sic leave replacement came to an end. Management and co-workers made you part of there family. The only downfall to this job was working several week-ends in a row.

pick eggs, wash incubators, de-beak and vaccinate the ducks, transport them from barn to barn. do egg test. the management is very well set up and a great communicaton in between management and employees. in the hatchery you have work as a team to make sure the job gets done properly and efficientlly. the hardest part of the job was to get used to some of the machines and how they ran but once used to them it was very easy and enjoyable to do.
